Michael,
My understanding is that the 99th centile is the relevant cuttoff for AMI
according to the universal definition of AMI. The difficulty is whether this is
accepted by your cardiologists (either locally or nationally). When mking this
decision for the centaur I chose 0.05 as this was the upper limit of the
confidence limit of the 99th centile (according the Centaur PI) and I was
concerned about false positives should be assay drift slightly.

How do Advia Centaur CP users report Troponin Ultra results, specifically numbers
between the 99th percentile (0.04) and the ACS/AMI decision limit (0.78).
Should a comment be added for non-cardiologists requesting the test ?
