Male admitted to A/E today having pierced his hand with spines from a Rabbit Fish in his tropical tank. Everybody specialising in Toxicology / Venom seems to be either on holiday or snowed in, so the advice of the handy PADI qualified Australian nurse to keep the hand in hot water as hot as the patient could stand for an hour was followed. Any further advice/comment welcome.
