Developing and Managing Learning Strategies in your organisation - a two day
workshop on:
17 & 18 January, London
The learning organisation
Lifelong Learning
The learners' charter
Training is dead, long live learning seems to be the banner for what is
being promoted.
Buzz phrases for the 90s and beyond or is there a new trend here which is
both exciting and useful? This workshop will lead you to say, yes it is the
way forward and it opens up new and interesting ways of working.
The putting of learning at the centre of staff development opens up a lot of
exciting ways to work. But it will require managers and those responsible
for training and development to review some of their systems and approaches.
This workshop seeks to explore the key ideas in this return to learning. It
will explore the ideas of learning and development and review where training
fits into the new mix. it will look at the strategies and processes
involved.
By the end of the workshop you will be able to:
* define learning, development and training within the context of your
organisation.
* list changes to policies, procedures and strategies you may need to
make.
* list useful learning and development approaches for your
organisation
* set up a learning audit and the subsequent follow on processes to
make full use of the outcomes
* have an action plan for the way forward
