Dear Cecilia,
I don't think it includes a full translation, but there is a very
useful article by Ann Freeman, 'Theodulf of Orleans and the
Libri Carolini', Speculum, XXXII, no. 4 (October 1957), 663-705,
which discusses it. In regard to your topic, you might want to look
at the apse mosaic at Germigny-des-Pres, depicting the Ark of the
Covenant, a subject which I believe is discussed in the Libri
Carolini.
Cheers,
Jim Bugslag
