A different Magnus! Magnus of Orkney was commemorated on
April 16 and (translation) Dec. 13. In addition to Orkneyinga
saga, there are two sagas about st. magnus (related to the
text of orkneyinga saga) one of which has been translated, with
notes, by Hermann Palsson and Paul Edwards as Magnus' Saga, Perpetua
Press, 1987.
> For further details on Magnus, try the Orkneyinga Saga - a good read.
