"The Dialogue Between Heresy and Orthodoxy in the High Middle Ages."
Four interdisciplinary sessions are being planned for Kalamazoo/Leeds
2000. They will explore the dialectic between heresy and orthodoxy
and their reciprocal influence -- i.e., how orthodoxy changed in
response to heresy and vice versa. We welcome interdisciplinary
perspectives including art history, literary studies, history, and
religious studies. The chronological bounds of the sessions are
flexible.
