Introducing the Physiotherapy Effectiveness Bulletin
The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) is committed to making
evidence-based information available.
The Physiotherapy Effectiveness Bulletin is a new publication which
summarises the evidence from information contained on the Cochrane Library
in a succinct bullet point format. It highlights implications for
physiotherapy practice and further research.
The first issue is available now on Health Promotion: Physical Activity and
Exercise. Three further issues will be available this year on :
Services for Older People (August)
[to cover stroke, falls and accidents, osteoporosis and fractures and mental
health]
Mental Health (October)
[focusing on addiction, service delivery, and severe mental illness]
Musculoskeletal Disorders (December)
[first issue to concentrate on spinal problems]
They are available free to members of the CSP and for £2.50 each to
non-members (incl P&P).
