I'm investigating the possible options for managing the use of the
Internet in public libraries - specifically, blocking email websites,
and preventing the computer aware user from manually configuring the
library's browsers to access their own email servers.
For blocking websites, I'm aware of Net Nanny which does a competent
job, but does anyone have particular lessons learnt from this or other
similar tools? And is there a way of preventing users from messing about
with the browser's preferences to access their own email accounts?
