Dear list members,
I am working on some middle high german sermons de sanctis. All
sermons have a latin incipit, and I was able to find most of them in
Hesberts "Corpus Antiphonalium officii". Unfortunately, I have been
unable to indentify a few one citations. If anyone of you has any idea
where the following quotes come from I'd be very grateful for any
information.
1. De innocentibus:
"Hodie pro domino perempta sunt infantium milia quos occidit herodis
seuicia etc."
2. Nativitas Mariae
"Adest nobis sacratissime virginis que ex regali progenie christum
regem dominum etc."
3. Simon et Judas apostoli
"Symon et iudas cum ingressi fuissent persidam occurrit eis waradach
dux regis babilonie cui nomen erat xerses"
4. Catharina
"Ave virgo speciosa / clarior sideribus / cuius vultum ac decorem /
concupivit Dominus."
