Dear colleagues
I am interested to find examples of the following:
A) Examples of 'strong' (i.e meets Cochrane critical appraisal
standards) research evidence on any aspect of nursing practice.
(by nursing practice I am trying to focus on areas where it is
clearly nurses who make the decisions - this is problematic I know as
this varies from country to country, from hospital to hospital, and
even within 'specialities' but send them all in if you think they
apply)
B) Research evidence (that in itself is strong - also could for
example include audit where standards are based on research
evidence) that demonstrates that even where 'strong' evidence
exists practice does not conform to that which is indicated in said
evidence
I will of course summarise and circulate back to list(s)
thanks
mark
