Your point is a valid one, and I too have concerns about limiting knowledge to
that gained from RCTs. Glossing over the inevitable response that EBH is not
just about RCTs I would have to ask what you propose as an alternative? I
think that the nursing profession often sufffers from criticising current
practice (legitimately) while not proposing viable alternatives.
I ask the question in a genuine spirit of enquiry. Your response (and that of
any other nurses out there) welcomed.
