I have taken the liberty of including some other lists of mine in this
posting, where I think that there will be people interested in (or
advising others about) free access to EU data for research and, it would
seem, for developing teaching materials also.

European official statistics now available in free usage r-cade
accounts
The r-cade Web site http://www-rcade.dur.ac.uk contains
contain an announcement of a new free-of-charge academic research

highly beneficial bulk licence arrangements for UK researchers.
This is a special initiative by Eurostat to widen access to their

initially will provide up to 210 data extractions per year
from the World Wide Web interface free both of usage and data costs.
The accounts are available for ALL UK academic researchers.
