We've had comments that our upper limit of normal (PTH on the original
Immulite, using EDTA plasma as a sample) was too low. How many
volunteers could you round up to do your study ?

Subject: Immulite PTH assay - reference range
Date: May 18, 1999 12:43AM
We have done a reference range study for our PTH method and obtained
a range calculated as roughly 2.0 - 10.0 pmol/L. The kit insert for
this assay quotes 1.3 - 7.6 (Immulite 2000 intact PTH).
The subjects were healthy volunteers with normal creatinine.
I would like to hear of other people's experience, and welcome any
comments.
