CLINICAL LECTURER IN PUBLIC HEALTH MEDICINE, UNIVERSITY OF
EAST ANGLIA (WITH IAN HARVEY, PROFESSOR OF EPIDEMIOLOGY AND
PUBLIC HEALTH)
The School of Health Policy and Practcice is seeking to
appoint a Lecturer in Public HEalth MEdicine. The post is
tenable for up to 3 years in the first instance and is
approved for higher training in Public Health Medicine and
is available from February 1st 1999.
This apppointment is available for medically qualified
applicants (with current GMC registration) with at least 2
years post registration clinical experience and preferably
with experience of public health medicine and possession of
the part I MFPHM.
The post is located in a supportive research and teaching
environment which includes epidemiologists, public health
physicians, a biostatistician, health economists,
psychologists and hospital and primary care clinicians. The
lecturer will have honorary specialist registrar status
with East Norfolk Health Authority (located in Norwich
training coordinator Dr Norman Pinder). The academic
supervisor for the post will be Ian Harvey (Professor of
Epidemiology and Public Health)
The salary is on the clinical academic scale £22510 -
£32830. It is anticipated that interviews will take place
in the week beginning 18 January 1999
