Laura - you come across the idea that the Irish Sts have such marvellous
stories because they adapted the kinds of stories used in the Cattle-Raid
of Cooley & the like? In both cases, the point seems to be, not at all
historical (or physiological) reality, but imaginativeness. Pardon
