History Department
Three (3) tenure-track assistant professors in each of the
following areas: Civil War era history, 1848-1877; United
States, Antebellum Period, 1815-1848; Early Modern Continental
European history, defined as ca. 1400-1800, with a geographic
preference for the Romance language area, all beginning in
August 1999. Ph.D. is strongly preferred in each position.
