There's a Moses the Saracen, Egyptian hermit of Arab origin, called by queen
Mavia who desiered the conversion of her realm in exchange for peace with
the emp Valens (373-78). See the Encyclopedia of the Early Church, vol. 1,
p. 576. His feast is 7 Feb. I don't know if he is the same one in the
Legenda Aurea. If he isn't, let me know and I'll look around some more in
our monastic holdings.
