Dear Scott,
Most of those mss. are late 8th to 10th century. I discussed them in my
book `Het tripartite boeteboek. Overlevering en betekenis van
vroegmiddeleeuwse biechtvoorschriften (met editie en vertaling van vier
tripartita) (Hilversum 1994, pp.231-260, where I talk about the
manuscript context of the so-called tripartite penitentials.
Descriptions of such manuscripts are to be found in the works devoted to
penitentials by R. Kottje, R. Haggenmueller, G. Haegele, F.B. Asbach and
L. Koertngen.
