Dear colleagues,
Could total acid phosphatase activity reliably be estimated in frozen
plasma (-30°C) obtained from EDTA anticoagulated blood. There was no
pretreatment of the plasma samples (as for example Boehringer Mannheim
recommends using acetic acid). Moreover, I believe that the samples
under consideration have been stored for quite a variable period of
time. Should one worry about this?
Thank you for your helpul advice.
