Haven't heard of the film, but I do have a few of the CDs by Anonymous 4, on
the Harmonia Mundi label. They are a bit pricey ($17.99 at the local
Tower), but I have enjoyed them. I also have a nice collection by Anonymous
4 entitled Miracles of Santiago: Music from the Codex Calixtinus. Someone
was asking about pilgrimages earlier today--here is some music to read to.
Be careful of some of the Hildegard recordings, though. Some are new-agey,
with synthesizer backgrounds and what I can only describe as a Yanni-esque
feel to them. If that's your cup of tea, fine, but if you're looking for
something a little more authentic, be a discerning shopper; look to see how
the pieces have been arranged.
