I am doing some research on the tomb of St. Vincent of Saragossa in Avila.
In most sources on the life of St. Vincent, a feast date of January 22 is
given and there is no mention of his two sisters, Sabina and Cristeta,
who are also represented as saints on the tomb. The one exception is in
The Encyclopedia of Catholic Saints which lists a feast day of October
27th and includes his two sisters in the martyrdom. Why is this? I am also
looking for information on Master Matthew.
