HISTORY-HERITAGE
Dear Colleague
We are writing to inform you of a new electronic discussion group set up by
the 'Heritage Studies as Applied History' project at York, and inspired
by the conference 'Consuming the Past' that we ran at York in November 1996.
The discussion group 'history-heritage' is supported by Mailbase,
and is designed to facilitate discussion between historians, heritage
providers, and anyone else interested in the relationship between academic
history and 'heritage' or 'public history'. The group is not moderated, and
anyone with email access can join.
To join the group, send the message

If you have any queries about joining, please email the discussion group
owners at [log in to unmask]
We hope that you will be interested in joining the group, and adding your voice
to the discussions. Any topics relating to history and heritage can be
aired on the group; once you have joined, it is your list as well as ours!
Thank you for your time and attention
