Is this the same Matthias who was chosen to replace Judas? If so, do you
have a reference for more information than appears in the Acts of the
Apostles? He is a shadowy figure at best, but he is supposed to have
written a gospel now lost. And what about Joseph, called Barsabas, whom
he beat out for the apostleship? Anyone have any information on him?
