On Lucy and eyesight there is Anthony K. Cassell, _Santa Lucia as Patroness
of Sight: Hagiography, Iconography, and Dante_, in: Dante Studies 109
(1991), p.71-88; Cassell is not among my most favourite Dantists, but I seem
to recall this article of his as being well documented.
