I am not on the Latin-L list and know nothing of its contents.
I have made no secret of my Christian commitments in comments on the present
list. The post from me to which Michael Hynes replies did not disclaim
advocacy but asked that all opinions (opinions advocate) be accorded civility.
I do not know what extreme-right and Christian fundamentalists have to do
with my post, unless the intention was to discredit me by means of guilt
by association. For the record, I am neither an extreme rightist nor a
Fundamentalist and I do not appreciate being labeled as either of them,
nor do I think the effort to discredit me in this way is professional.
