bonjour!
Let me present myself: I am a student on the threshold of the third year
at
the university of Geneva. My fields are french history of literature (my
major),
English and Latin. Because I do not have specific knowledge or
specialisation in either medieval religion, -history, or -art, I do not
feel
able to intricate myself in any of your discussions. Maybe in a few
years...
Very pleased to drink your messages every day from the square cup of my
screen.
Before leaving, allow me to display a little poetry of mine which could
please you (this is what pleases me in medieval literature) :
Qui as jamais su ce qu’est la poésie ?
Est-ce de l’encre bleue sur un papier bavard,
Ou est-ce une parole aux lèvres d’un buvard ?
Who has ever known what poetry is?
Is it, on a wordy sheet, a blue ink blot..?
Or is it a word at the lips of a blotter paper?
(I tried to adapt)
Révérance à tous.(and if a gallicism occurs... hope you will accept it
for a
french charm)
