Good morning!

We use this with slight modifications. We got burned badly using the
original.
It turns out the location
/var/run/arc/urs
gets deleted on the CE if (when?)it reboots = accounting data lost, as
happened to us.
--------
(If you search tb-support for "/var/run/arc/urs" you'll find the Sep 2016
thread about this including:
> It's wrong if records go missing from the archive_dir, which is
> /var/run/arc/urs in our setup.
> But perhaps it's an error in my setup to put those files in a 'run' dir

)
--------
So we changed /etc/arc.conf
archiving:/var/run/arc/urs
to
archiving:/var/spool/arc/urs.data
One gripe about ARC CE APEL is that that archive dir is never cleared out.
It's a giant dumping ground.
root@lcgce01> nice -n 19 ls -l urs.data > /tmp/190822.ll.urs; wc -l /tmp/190822.ll.urs
375615 /tmp/190822.ll.urs
We've sometimes renamed urs.data with a timestamp & made a fresh one, but
then if you have to republish you have to find stuff in the old one.
Bit of pain.
Vip, if you want +details/recipe, just ask.
