An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Manager to join the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Global Health Research Unit for Neglected Tropical Diseases, led by Professor Melanie Newport & Professor Gail Davey.
The Data Manager will work with the Senior Statistician and other Unit personnel across all seven-work streams of the Unit, covering laboratory, field and epidemiological research in scabies, mycetoma and podoconoisis in Ethiopia and Sudan.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or with equivalent experience, proactive with a positive and flexible attitude and exceptional communication skills.
The role will involve data review and discrepancy management to ensure data quality and consistency; development of Case Report Forms (CRFs), Data Management Plans (DMPs), Study Databases and implement data validation and quality control procedures. Appropriate study training will be provided.
