medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear Otfried and Kurt,
Thanks very much for your replies. I've continued reading and a calendar from the Cappella Palatina that dates to either the 14th or 15th century does list her under September 4, the feast that commemorates her death. But that first document does suggest that there was some other celebration tied to the Assumption as well. I'll have to think about this more. Thanks again for your insights.
With all best wishes,
Dawn
