There is yet another course, pioneered yet again by a Professor who is a Black Woman, of which we should be aware and which our community should support and promote:

• Professor Shirley-Anne Tate: http://www.leedsbeckett.ac.uk/staff/professor-shirley-tate/

Lucia Llano Puertas,
I thank you for your helpful correction, which is welcome.
Professor Joan Anim-Addo gave one of two keynote presentations (the second was given by Professor Hazel Carby) at the conference on Black Feminisms, organised by Dr Lisa Palmer, Dr Denise Noble, and Dr Karen Wilkes, at Birmingham City University, in March 2017.
Here is a link to that conference: https://www.bcu.ac.uk/news-events/calendar/black-feminisms-women-belonging-and-the-nation. As ever, we are indebted to Professor Akwugo Emejulu for live-tweeting (and, thereby, archiving) the event: https://twitter.com/akwugoemejulu/status/843047727864958976?s=21.
With love and care,

Dear Nathaniel,
I have read this email with interest, and would like to add the MA in Black British Writing at Goldsmiths, University of London, convened by Professor Joan Anim-Addo and a fellow (female) colleague. Best wishes,
