I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned the pictures of bell ringers on English fonts, if not, you can check out the two images on the fonts at:
1) A man is ringing two bells on the font at Belton nr. Grantham (Lincs.), Parish Church of Saint Paul and Saint Peter, Late Norman? [re-carved?]. Notes: Tyrrell-Green (1928) remarks that the image of the bell-ringer on this font alludes to the name of the town [BELTON: bell town] and states that the fonts at Belton, Hereford Cathedral, Micheldean (Gloucs.) and Rendcombe (Gloucs.) were "evidently produced by the same hand, or by the same school of workmen".
2) A male figure ringing two bells by their ropes, Hutton Cranswick / Cranzvic & Hotone [Domesday] / Cranzvic & Hottune [Domesday] [now in the Yorkshire Museum, York], Norman (recycled font?),
