Charles:
I should say that the intention of my post was not propose a model
for levels of evidence. I just sorted the concepts that Alessandro listed
to give an example of how these concepts may be differentiated using the
concepts of intuition and evidence. I am unsure myself about how I sorted
the concepts. Indeed, I said that I was curious about Alessandro's original
question.
My intention was not to propose a careful article (I don't think Peter's
blog post is an article either) but to motivate the conversation of
Alessandro's original question. My intention was not to discuss
or summarize Peter's article but to recommend a related reading to
Alessandro.
I don't think we have to necessarily write a journal-article type of text
to contribute to our discussions in the list (though I enjoy some of the
long posts).
Thanks.
