We get them to check the work and then sign the last page to indicate all the pages have been printed, we will continue to follow this procedure.

I suppose as long as they number all the pages and then sign the last page, that tells the marker how many pages there are.

Hi Gina,
We don’t ask the student to sign anything but we do ask them to check that the work is complete once it is printed and they verbally confirm to us. However, it is a really good point and I’m wondering now if we should be getting a signature.
Many Thanks
Rachel

Subject: Word processor
Hi All
I was just wondering what everyone does with regards to those students using a word processor.
The Form 4 on the JCQ website did have a “number of pages typed” field on the form at the beginning of the academic year but this field has now disappeared from the form.
Does anyone ask the students to complete anything that they sign to state how many pages they have typed or not?
I would really appreciate your thoughts on this.
Kind regards
