The day engineers will substitute the label engineer by the label designer in their business card we will talk again about that “general” opinion.
By the way Terry, apart from Dr, PMACM, MISI, MAISA, FDRS, AMIMechE and Director, what do you confidently put more on your business card?
Engineer Designer?
Instead of saying I studied “something” you (anglo saxons) like to say: I was trained as “something”. In what are engineering designers trained on?
Is there a social place for such entity? Or would it be considered an oddity (socially)?
“ - So... I see... you are an Engineer Designer… Wanted to make daddy and mummy happy at the same time?…"
And... engineering designers to be Designers should write in their cards "Designer of Engineering"?
Fondly,
E.
