Postdoc in Media technology and interaction design Kungliga Tekniska högskolan,

KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm has grown to become one of Europe’s leading technical and engineering universities, as well as a key centre of intellectual talent and innovation. We are Sweden’s largest technical research and learning institution and home to students, researchers and faculty from around the world. Our research and education covers a wide area including natural sciences and all branches of engineering, as well as in architecture, industrial management, urban planning, history and philosophy.

Job description

The employment is limited to one year and include research within any of our research areas, technology enhanced learning, sustainability, sound and music computing, communication and media production, sociotechnical practices, interaction design. You will conduct independent research under the supervision of a senior lecturer or professor within the subarea you selected. You are expected to define your own research projects / programs in consultation with the supervisor. In this project / program, we encourage cooperation initiatives with other researchers at the department of MID.

Qualifications

Applicants must (at the start date) hold a PhD in a subject relevant to the research at the department of MID (e.i., media technology, human-computer interaction, computer science).

We are particularly interested in candidates with research interests that matches and complements what we do within our research areas. Publications in high-ranking conferences and journals is a merit.
