With the implementation of Alma as our new library management system in January 2016 and the forthcoming move to a new Library and Student Services Centre in autumn 2017, Library Services at Royal Holloway, University of London is going through an exciting period of development and change. As a result of these two major projects, which offer the opportunity to re-shape and develop our services, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated individual to the new role of Metadata, Discovery and Analytics Coordinator.
Reporting to the Associate Director, e-Strategy, Acquisitions and Content Delivery, the post holder will have responsibility for:
* Co-ordinating activities relating to the capture and management of Library metadata, including overseeing the cataloguing of new material to be added to the physical and digital collection.
* Supporting the configuration of the Library's discovery systems and the interconnection and interoperability of our systems
* Taking forward initiatives to improve the discoverability of content within Library resource discovery services, monitoring metadata quality and ensuring compliance with standards
* Coordinating the collection of selected Library analytics, in particular coordinating use of the LMS analytics tools for collection of selected Library management information.

£28,185 to £33,210 per annum - including London Allowance
