I realize I'm FAR over my 2 responses per thread so, with apologies, this
will be my last post on this thread.
I'm not asking for the world here. My request was very specific: I was
asking for help to understand the very specific statement you made that
ideals are gendered. I'm not sure I see how that translates to my having to
learn all about gender theory - which seems to be what you suggested.
In any case, thanks for all the thoughtful posts.
