If no one has mentioned it already, there is Forest Research, where the late lamented and much loved Diane Stilwell guided communications
And while we are at it, the National Trust. It may be a commercial, land grabbing outfit that treats tenants like carp [sic] – a charity in name only – but, even though it has shafted Wakehurst, the Trust has a lot of trees. (Some of them on our back door.) So if it can tear itself away from at flogging annual membership and flogging tasteless tat in its shops, it may know something about applying its undeniable PR skills to the bigger communication picture.
