Thanks for the link David.
I want to mention the other relationship between Wittgenstein and design: the interiors and hardwares he designed for his sister’s house in Vienna. It obsessed him so much that the "door handles took a year to design. The radiators took another.”
When I first found out about this house years ago, I remember marvelling at the attention to detail in such features and speculating as to the reasons of for their design, though unfortunately images and drawings are or were difficult to find.
Some links:

That last link is especially interesting in how it proposes a similarity between how Wittgenstein defined and structured designed elements in his door handles to the way he wrote philosophy.

Hi All,
My good friend Robert Horn drew my attention to this. As some of you know, I am fascinated by what is happening at the intersection of design and philosophy. Here is an example.

You need to know how Wittgenstein worked in order to see why the work being done at Iowa contributes to making manifest a complex and often difficult philosophical discourse.
I can see this being applied to Wittgenstein’s later work and beyond. Quite literally, a redesigning of philosophy.
