Dear All,
Since its foundation in the Middle Ages, Oxford has hosted a number of Spanish students and professors, many of whom have come to play significant roles in history.
'Spanish Footsteps in Oxford' is a new initiative of the Madariaga Series that aims to illustrate this long-standing relationship between Spain and the University by regularly publishing articles on the presence of Spanish personalities at Oxford, from Luis Vives in 1523 to Ramón Menéndez Pidal or Javier Marías.
You can read the first article on our site: http://www.madariagaseries.com/blog
If you would like to contribute with a piece, please email us and we will be in touch.
Sincerely,
Dr Juan Carlos Conde & Dr Diego Rubio
On behalf of the Madariaga Series
