medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Hello,
I think JL stands for Jaffé & Lowenfeld, Regesta pontificum romanorum:

medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear learned list members, I have been working with some unfamiliar materials involving 11th century papal documents.. Most of the references are to a source abbreviated as JL (e.g. for Urban II: JL 5681). I cannot find in the source I am using, or similar volumes, the actual title to which "JL" refers. Can anyone help?
thanks,
John W.
