Hi,
For my colleagues using APEX (CSC) do you have the AKI score switched on for paediatric patients? We only have ours running for the adult population but understand this should be for all patients. Did you use the age related reference ranges to determine baseline and does this cause problems with having multiple algorithms working for different age groups? I would imagine these patients have fewer blood tests and hence are more likely to have the calculated baseline creatinine used (URL) presumably making the score less reliable?
Opinions on the use of AKI score (in paeds) for non-APEX users would also be appreciated.
Many thanks
Stephen
