We would like to formally invite you to attend the conference "Retouching the Palaeolithic", this meeting will take place from 21-23 October 2015 in Herrenhausen Palace at Hannover, Germany, this meeting is organized by MONREPOS Archaeological Research Centre and Museum for Human Behavioural Evolution, IPHES and NLD, and sponsored by VolkswagenStiftung.
Main aim of the conference is to present and discuss your most recent research on the topic of bone retouchers and the development of bone tool technology. In order to fix the initial list of participants, we ask that you please confirm your attendance to conference. To encourage your participation, we are offering to pay all travel costs to Hannover and for accommodation during your stay, Retouching the Palaeolithic: Becoming Human and the Origins of Bone Tool Technology international conference. While the immediate focus of the conference will deal with bone retouchers and other related technologies, our broader objective is to address a variety of issues regarding the signifiacance of such implements for the study of human behavioural evolution. In that respect, we welcome all theoretical, methodological and experimental contributions, as well as regional or temporal syntheses.
In total, we have space for 10 extra conference participants. So that we can begin to make arrangements, please send your confirmation ([log in to unmask]) by 20th August 2015, including preliminary title, authors (name, surname and affiliation) and short Abstract (300 words).
