I would like to clarify that I don't regard Schon's reflective practice as
an exhaustive model of designing. This is completely off topic so I'll
leave it at that.

Fair enough. Perhaps "proof" is too strong a word, and I'm pretty sure
people on this list are open minded enough to welcome suggestions aimed at
improving design practice. However, your suggestions and changes are quite
radical (in the sense they feel almost unnatural for common design
practice) so they need persuasive arguments and more detailed description
of how to go about implementing such changes.
