Both posts very well put together and so useful.
Thanks guys!
And I couldn't agree more Mike with your comments re what Wordpress does well and what it hasn't even realised it isn't even trying to do. (There might be one too many 'even's in there but you get the gist...)

Subject: [MCG] Managing content flow (in WordPress)
Hi all
There's a great post on the V&A blog about managing content flow on a rapid project
(http://www.vam.ac.uk/blog/digital-media/the-museum-of-savage-beauty-producing-beautiful-content-when-time-is-not-on-your-side)
- and it prompted me to write one about a couple of really simple plugins we developed for our Waterloo 200 build:
http://www.thirty8.co.uk/2015/03/keeping-track-of-content-in-wordpress/
We're looking into the, um, "how to manage content" side of content management (!) and thinking that we might develop some plugins to help people do this. There are a few available already.
So - are there any tools (specifically within WordPress - but elsewhere
too) that you use to help this flow? I'm thinking tools that help you keep track of:
- content completeness
- submissions from 3rd parties
- readability / content accessibility
- workflow
- bug / content error tracking
There's also https://gathercontent.com/ which looks amazing - but seems pretty expensive to me.
Would be great to hear what you're doing, and how!
cheers
Mike
