Hi Adam.
Surely there is a reference collection in London that has ostrich? I see the Natural History Museum's mammal collection is closed until the Spring. Pity. Alternatively the bone room at Cambridge? Its a quick train trip away...
Otherwise we can scan some bones for you, I think we have ostrich in the lab (I'll have to get someone to scan for you, as I am away).
Cheers

Hi Haskel,
Thanks for the suggestion, but she doesn't seem to cover birds in her atlas.

Dear colleagues,
I would be grateful for direction toward osteological literature on ostrich (Struthio camelus). I have a phalanx that I suspect is from an ostrich hindlimb, but can't confirm this.
Thank you,
Adam
