Dear colleagues,
I am writing to announce that important corrections have been published for data links in a new paper in the open access journal PLOS ONE entitled "Data sharing reveals complexity in the westward spread of domestic animals across Neolithic Turkey" (http://www.plosone.org/article/info%3Adoi%2F10.1371%2Fjournal.pone.0099845). This paper includes corrected links to 14 databases that the authors agreed to publish in Opencontext. These faunal databases are therefore available for anyone to use in their own research and can (and should) be cited like traditional publications, for example:
Hijlke Buitenhuis. "Ilıpınar Zooarchaeology: (Overview)" (Released 2013-08-16). Hijlke Buitenhuis (Ed.) Open Context. <http://opencontext.org/projects/D297CD29-50CA-4B2C-4A07-498ADF3AF487> DOI:10.6078/M76H4FBS
I hope many of you will be able to use these datasets in your research and will publish your own via Opencontext.org or other venues.
Best,
Benjamin Arbuckle
