Hi Janet,
This study from Australia used lithium heparin tubes and still reported false positive TnI results:

Hi
We have had problems with fliers in this assay since
early May. Various investigations have failed to identify
cause.
We are considering looking at transferring to li hep
plasma rather than serum. Has anyone else had similar
problems? Has anyone any experience of effect of change in
sample type?
Many thanks.
