I've also heard (I forget where) that amazon are doing similar things in product searches and pages, for that reason. Seems like a sound move - also for calendar (hcal/vcal) aware apps too

Google seems to be using data annotated with schema.org<http://schema.org> schemas in their Knowledge Graph as explained in [1], [2] is a good read on how it could impact SEO…

There seems to be little doubt that Google use schema.org<http://schema.org/> to enhance their listings and to decide on ranking but there is no solid information on exactly how.
I suspect this will be a growth area over the coming years so I think it is probably a good practice to get into.
For example, I can imagine Google Glasses and Siri making use of the markup to pull back data.

Hi everyone
I’ve just seen an example of one of our web editors marking up html to be friendly to schema.org<http://schema.org/>
What are peoples’ thoughts on the use of that through your sites?
Have you marked up much with it, and if so how useful was it?
