I appreciate your support! May I ask you for a copy of your paper?
Thank you very much,

Lubomir,
To me, this is the most important thing that anyone has said in this discussion so far. I have spent some time working through the implications and practical applications of this shifting of paradigms. I suspect that most of our colleagues are not ready for this leap, let alone our clients. BTW, the term 'testing' is what we use to describe to our clients some of what we do. It is not how we conceptualise it, or practice it ourselves.
I wrote about this in 'Theory for Practice' which was originally a iiid conference paper that was republished by AIGA, but has subsequently disappeared off the public part of their site. We have republished it at CRI at http://communication.org.au/product/theory-practice-principles-practical-information-design/
I'd be fascinated to see if anyone picks up this issue and explores it further on this list.
David
